Martin "Marty" Morrissey is just one of those legends in Irish Sports commentary and TV personalities. A true likeable character who deserves a good caricature! Everyone knows and has a soft spot for this guy. A real gentleman who has time for everyone. Outside of the GAA he is known to love a good night out and I thought what better way to pay tribute to this legend then paint him on the Box outside one of Ireland's most famous GAA pubs, 'Quinns'. I thought his tagline 'Aint no party like a Marty Party' would resonate with GAA fans on matchday and give that feelgood factor coming up the championships this summer. I reckon it might make a nice image for a selfie's come matchday also! :)
I am a full-time UX/UI designer but in my spare time, I love to draw caricatures. I am known as 'The Caricature Guy'. I mainly draw at Weddings and events all over the country. Drawing caricatures of people in 4 minutes or less. I also draw caricatures as gifts and have drawn many Irish Celebs over the years. My work has appeared in many of the Irish papers. My Idea would be a caricature of Martin "Marty" Morrissey.
