Artwork description:

In Irish folklore the Hawthorn tree marks a gateway into the fairy world and this fairy tree has been modernised to house a whole village of magical creatures. The patterns in the trees foliage is inspired by the stone carvings at Newgrange.

Biography:

I am an artist and illustrator living in the Rathfarnham area. I love creating vibrant and colourful work inspired by folklore and fairy tales.
