Artwork description:

The cat is a fascinating animal that many cultures worship. They are graceful, light-footed, and nimble. Offering unconditional love and companionship, our Burmese cats are infinitely entertaining and playful. They can get pretty rambunctious and delight us daily with their joyful antics. In this design, I’ve rendered cat silhouettes in a folk art design to suggest the complexity of their personalities, and to celebrate their immense joie de vivre. This is similar to Cattitude, but the design is simpler and the colours are more vibrant.

Biography:

I am a graphic designer originally from Galway but living in Lucan for the past 26 years. I have worked many years as both a freelance designer and an inhouse designer. I do much of my work digitally - posters, computer illustrations, photo retouching, and PowerPoint presentations. As well as digital work, I also hand-paint murals (interior and exterior), window designs, signwriting projects etc.
