Artwork description:

My artwork celebrates Lily and Lolly Yeats (sisters of WB Yeats) who set up a craft studio in Dundrum called Dun Emer. They provided training and work for young women in the field of book binding, printing, weaving and embroidery. Both sisters are buried in the graveyard of St. Nathi’s church, located close to this electrical box.

Biography:

I am a graphic designer specialising in television graphics. I studied visual communications at NCAD and now work on opening titles and motion graphics for television programmes. I enjoy creating images and designs by using the traditional hand skills of drawing and painting, alongside other techniques.
