Artwork description:

Queen Medb was as fierce as they come. When her husband dared to suggest that he may be the slightly more powerful one in the partnership, Medb made sure he woud eat his words. Her bloodthirsty quest to obtain a more powerful beast than her husband’s bull led to the gory death of legions of men, including the mighty warrior Cú Chulainn.

Hi! I’m Maria Crean. I am a multi-media artist a special education teacher from Belfast. I love bright, colourful, alternative and bold design, traditional crafts and folk art, street art, zinemaking and the therapeutic healing power of art.
