I have painted two rugby players for my submission, one male, one female. I have applied to paint a box near St Marys Rugby Club and Templeogue College, a rugby school so I thought this would fit there. I have painted both from behind to give an impression that they could be anyone. I have put inspirational quotes on the side of the box in the hope that it might inspire passers by and kids going to training.
I am an Irish Graphic Designer working in a repro house for the past 16 years. I live in Drimnagh but I am originally from Templeogue which is why I have chosen to paint a box in this area. I have always had a keen interest in art and I am enjoying sharing this with my 2 young daughters.
