As a little background info, Selkies are an Irish mythological creature who take the form of seals but can shed their skin like a cloak and turn into women to go inland. There are many stories of men stealing the Selkie’s cloak and hiding it, forcing them to marry the man and stay stuck on land. Thankfully this Selkie is roaming free around Dublin bay!
An artist currently studying model-making in IADT. I am also developing my skills in painting, illustration and graphic design. I have worked on multiple projects for Dublin Canvas; two boxes (The Birds and Celtic Goddesses) and the mural in Avondale House. I love creating colourful, thoughtful pieces and interacting with the public while I paint.
