Artwork description:

Clondalkin is home to many immigrants, myself included. While the transition from one lifestyle to another and swapping the mother tongue for a foreign language is never easy, settling in is just a matter of time. Clondalkin is a home away from home for many people like me. My design depicts traditional Polish and broadly Eastern European florals and motifs that bring a touch of one home to another.

Biography:

I am a science student in UCD and Clondalkin has been my home since the end of 2005 when I moved here from Poland. Art is just one hobby I can't give up regardless of time constraints and work commitments.
