A renowned figure in Irish culture, Father Jack Hackett was played by Irish actor Frank Kelly. Frank was born and raised in Blackrock and went to school there for many years. This piece will look to act as a tribute to the late Frank Kelly and pay homage to his timeless character portrayal of Father Jack Hackett.
Painting pretty much anything, in order to better understand the subject and improve my own artistic abilities, I am a self-taught artist from Dun Laoghaire with an unquenchable desire to improve my own artistic abilities. I revel in projects that include landscapes, portraits, abstract shapes and colours, digital design and, where I produce my best work, in large-scale murals. Typically using black and white with bold dashes and splashes of colour, the designs are heavily influenced by street art and look to use this influence to provide a somewhat urban perspective on more traditional pieces of artwork.
