I have been a resident in the area for several years, I wanted to show the most prominent landmark in the area, Donnycarney Church, surrounded by the everyday forms of life I often see and the contrast between nature and man-made structures and how they all find a way to survive and adapt to their surroundings.
I am a Colombian architect based in Dublin for the past 18 years and a watercolour and line drawing artist, I held my first solo watercolour exhibition called ‘City of life’ in 2017, in 2018 I had my first commissioned mural in Maynooth Community Unit for Older persons and I painted a Dublin Canvas box in Cabinteely, Johnstown Road with very good reception from the locals and passer-by’s alike.
