The box sits at the entrance to the Kimmage Manor estate. Once home to Sir Frederick Shaw, it now houses the Holy Ghost Missionary College. Not visible from the road, the grounds feature a large roman catholic church. My design features drawings of the church from all sides, including in the section on the rear of the box. The design compliments the signs above the box, acting as a fun abstraction of the building itself for patrons on their way to it, and as a point of interest for those who are passing by.
I am currently an Architecture student in TU Dublin, having just completed my 3rd year of studies. I have a keen interest in ensuring our city’s architectural heritage is accessible to all.
