Hands are both a physical and metaphorical representation of many aspects of human life - ingenuity, labour, industry, creativity, relationships, technology. I’ve used hands reaching up from the cityscape to the sky to portray
the vast possibilities that we can achieve. The goal of this piece is to create bold and visually striking imagery for the urban space while communicating an empowering and thought-provoking message.
Clara is a graphic designer, illustrator, and blogger based in Dublin, originally from San Francisco. Her illustrations explore enmeshed narratives of science fiction, folklore, fantasy, and the natural and urban worlds. She’s worked on
diverse art and design projects with clients in both Dublin and California.
