Artwork description:

My Wife & I moved to this neighborhood in the last 2 years. We love it. It is close to the city but right on the doorstep of the Dublin & Wicklow Mountains and all of Nature included. As there are a lot of new estates, there are also a lot of new & young families around the area. At the start of lockdown, I and my wife had a little baby boy, Oisin. For me, this picture represents family, positivity, nature and hope. I have included a lot of colour, as I want it to be bright, optimistic, youthful and all there has been much sadness recently, there is a future and it is bright. I wanted it to be child friendly and happy.

Biography:

I am from Lucan, my wife is half Venezuelan, half Portuguese. In relation to Art, I am not a professional Artist. I used to have a caricaturing website (approx.. 8 years ago) as a side project, but aside from that I have no other professional experience or education in art (aside from leaving cert).
