'MolaBello'

A representation of Dublin's Portobello, as a "Mola". Mola is a South American textile art form, originating in Columbia / Panama, typically consisting of brightly coloured shapes and patterns arranged as shown. The suburb of Portobello is named after the City of Portobello in Panama (apparently) so I decided to represent a map of the suburb (taken from OpenStreetMap.org) in this way. The suburb runs westwards from South Richmond Street to Clanbrassil Street, bordered on the north by the South Circular Road and on the south by the Grand Canal.
I work as an engineer but pursue art projects in my spare time.
