'Depart Luxury'
Heuston Station - Dublin 8

This image features a mock poster design advertisement for rail travel. It depicts the former exclusivity of a form of transport that was once seen as a luxurious means of traveling before later being replaced by cars. The last era where this sense of glamour endured was the 1920’s and as such, I have chosen the art deco style of graphic to represent this. The position next to Hueston station is an appropriate one as this grand building reflects the great amounts of capital invested in the infrastructure of rail transport in the past.
I am a recently graduated architecture student who is very interested in visual graphic design and art and craft along with a love for the urban realm and artistic scene within the city I grew up in.
