Artwork description:

With this artwork I want to pay homage to my adoptive town of Balbriggan, the youngest town in Ireland, with its many cultures and historic landmarks – as well as give tribute to the photobombing seagull of the artist who painted this box before me.

Biography:

I am an artist and illustrator based in Balbriggan. I’ve been drawing life-inspired quirky characters since I was a child. My first ‘canvas’ was the back of a tabulating card my dad brought home from work. My biggest wish for my art, is that it makes you smile. I currently work from my studio at Ardgillan Castle, Gardener’s Cottage.
