Artwork description:

My inspiration for this box is Irish traditional music. Swords has a rich history of music and trad has always been a key player in the Swords music scene. Most, if not all of the pubs in the village have been host to trad sessions over the years. I grew up in home that regularly celebrated trad and it holds a special place in my heart. Featured in the design are some of the most common Irish traditional instruments, along with some text and foliage.

Biography:

Aj Higgins is a Dublin based artist who studied fine art in TU Dublin. Currently working in an art studio, she has begun teaching art workshops. She paints murals around north Dublin, regularly creates digital art and does freelance photography, illustration and graphic design work.
